OpenGL or Direct3D?

    My graphics card (ATI) driver has a choice for OpenGL or Direct3D. Which
    one do you fellow acad'ers prefer? Or maybe I should ask, which one does
    AutoCAD prefer?

    Direct3D is mainly for Games, 3D CAx systems mostly do use OpenGL.

    AC as a 2D CAD doesn't use 3D accelearation... besides the 3D orbit.

    just use a simple video card with reliable 2D acceleration.
