    Hi,
Our customer has problem with AutoCAD lisence on a Citrix-server use. He get
error text "Only two instances allowed through terminal server client".

Our customer has found out, that the problem isn't in Citrix, this is
AutoCAD feature. AutoCAD has feature, which allow same time instances only
for two, if there is the Citrix-server on the ground. How to fix this
    problem?

  2. You don't run it on Citrix. Adesk considers server side hosting a bad idea,
and a violation of your licensing. It just doesn't work well to be honest.

What release of AutoCAD do you have? Some newer versions support network
licenses over VPN. This is a better solution for your client -- or
"borrowing" a network license for a remote site.

I am almost sure, that our customer has Mechanical 2002 or 2004.

If I have understood right our customer, the problem is how to move bigger
files between computer and server on slow connections (I could understand
something wrong). Citrix is solution, but how....

At one time, AutoCAD ran on Citrix just fine, but was not ideal in terms of performance and so forth, so Autodesk pulled out support and in some versions actually detect and block execution on Citrix or VNC sessions. At least this is what I've been told :) I was told also that 2005 can now be used on Citrix but that Autodesk does not officially support it. I may be in error here, so if anyone knows for sure, please correct me.

Our customer has said same thing, that older versions of AutoCAD has run on
Citrix, but the newer versions doesn't any more.

  7. If I remember correctly, there was a "special" version of ACAD2000 and
it's verticals for terminal and Citrix environments which we must order
    directly from Autodesk.
But with the release of 2000i Autodesk dropped the support for terminal
    servers (and changed the EULA).
