Ojects disappear in plot preview (Paper Space)

I'm having a problem with some file that will preview ok but then when they
come out they are missing some objects. To me it almost seems like AutoCAD
is not doing a full regeneration of the view before it plots because if I do
a regenall before I plot then just plot without previewing everything comes
    out ok.

I also have a problem with some files where nothing will plot except for a
few attributes, even though I see everything in the preview. Sometime if I
thaw all live layers in the sheet this seems to fix it.

Is this something that anyone has heard of and possibly have a fix for? Any
    information would be greatly appreciated.

There could be two sources of this problem, and maybe others that I am not
    familiar with.

One is that your plotter is low on memory, and is therefore leaving out part
of the drawing. You can get around this by setting up the driver to use the
computer memory instead of the plotter memory.

The other is how you installed ADT 3. If you installed it without ending
the process of your Anti-virus this can affect or corrupt the installation
of ADT or AutoCAD. Try re-installing your ADT and make sure that the
Anti-virus software is turned off by going into Task Manager and ending the
    process.

Disabling the Anti-virus icon in the Windows status bar is not sufficient to
    eliminate this problem.

See if one of those will help you.

Also, make sure you have an appropriate driver for your operating system,
    and plotter.

You can also try a different plotter driver, for example, someone informed
me today that the 750c driver will cause the 430 plotter to plot in both
directions, and also has some other features that work, but are not
available using the correct 430 driver.

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it.

The strange thing is that it only happens to a some drawings and not all. It
is something the happens out of nowhere. When these drawings were created
they were fine but somehow they ended up having this problem.

I've reloaded drivers and I always end the anti-virus software before
loading any program so I know that's not it.

If you can think of anything else please let me know.

    Thanks,

Try creating a plt file. Open and plot to file with no other commands. I
know not why, but I have been able to fix some plot freeze up/regen
problems in the past. It is like it kick starts the plot regen engine
and then plots seams to work fine.
