OCE TDS600 - Setup

We recently purchased an OCE-TDS600 with Scanner and I am having some
problems with getting it to plot out consistently.

I have set it up with one pc3 using different sizes/different rolls. From
my machine, this works great, finally, but will not work from other user
machines. For example, on my machine, a 36x24 drawing plots with roll1
(36") as it should. From any other machine, it is asking for the 24" roll.
(we don't use one). I seem to recall hearing issues with the auto-rotate
feature which we have disabled. (I have also enabled in testing.) It seems
as if the configuration from another computer is not using the same
    configuration as my machine.

(We are all on XP-Pro. The latest drivers have been installed. The pc3
file is available and seen through a shared network folder.)

Please forgive my ignorance as I have been pulling my hair out and this is
very frustrating. Probably right in front of me.....

Any information or suggestions anyone can provide will be greatly
    appreciated.

(If you need more info, please ask as I am not sure what I need to provide
    to you.)

Forgot to mention that we are using Acad-2000i.

Well, it depends on the coordinating the configuration between the Oce and
your PC3 files. I setup my TDS600 so that the machine does not autorotate
and I set it up so that I have one PC3 file, and the users have to select
one of two sizes - 30x42, or 36x24. Notice the first number is the roll
width. If they pick a 24x36 paper size, the plot will hang up at the
plotter and say that 24" roll isn't available.

There is an option in the Oce preferences for autorotate. I'd have to
review everything as it's been awhile since I've set it up.

    Thanks for your input.
I was told by OCE to set up a pc3 for each size but I got it to work with
one pc3 and 6 sizes. My issue hanging me up was due to the individual
driver needing to be updated on each workstation. Works great now! (Had to
    replace oce.drc and oce.hdi)

I had to do that too. Not to mention I have 3 different versions of AutoCAD
in the network. There was a file download from Oce that had AutoCAD
drivers, it had a BAT file that would open up a command window and give a
menu for which AutoCAD to install files for. Now that I've gone through all
that pain, I've got all systems running one PC3.

We just use one .pc3 file for our TDS 600 - it even works for both Win2K and
WinXP, (unlike the DesignJet drivers). We leave the Paper Source set to Auto
roll - the Paper Type generally determines which roll gets used, (we
primarily use plain paper, with one roll on vellum). What probably makes
ours so trouble free is that virtually all prints to the OCE are 24x36. We
have not installed the Windows drivers on each machine - the .pc3 files
appear to be sufficient for AutoCAD, (I believe they initially pull the
necessary files from the print server location).
