Océ Plan Center 1.6 has been released

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Scott Sheppard, May 20, 2004.

  1. New features have been added to the Océ Plan Center Online Service. The site
was updated on Wednesday, May 19, 2004 with the following timesaving
    features:

a.. Simplified Ordering Process: A new 3-step Work Order Creation Wizard
will enable you to save time by allowing the creation of a single order
across multiple Issues and multiple Projects. The wizard also simplifies the
ordering process by allowing users to create print sets. The print set
editor option enables an order to contain sets of similar documents for use
in constructing print packages with varying instructions
b.. Save time by importing contacts: Upload personal contacts from a comma
separated value file, directly into Océ Plan Center from any desktop
computer. This new functionality eliminates the need to enter individual
contacts into Océ Plan Center allowing users to manage a single contact
database and upload changes as necessary.
c.. More effective communications: Improvements have been made to the
appearance of the Océ Plan Center site, and e-mail templates have been
enhanced. Users can easily view their permission rights and the order
contents are now contained in an attached zip file.
If you have any questions, please contact your Océ Plan Center Authorized
Host or digital plan room administrator. For technical support, please
visit the Océ Plan Center support page. Coming Soon - Océ Drop Box. Watch
the Océ Plan Center website for details.

while installing 1.6.1.622, how do we work around the systems in a full networked environment where applications such as menus and pen tables and office specific environments are installed on a server and not the local machine? We have found this with ADT and LDT with customers working over a WAN... Please advise

  3. When processing a DWG in Océ Publisher, Publisher fires up AutoCAD on the
same machine. If AutoCAD has been installed and configured to use files on
shared network drives, AutoCAD will obey these settings and the resulting
LDF files will be produced with these settings applied.
