Objects plotting on layers turned off?

    I have a computer here that when you plot a drawing in 2004, the layers that
    are turned off still plot. Is there a way to fix this?

    LD2004, 512mb RAM, 2.4GHz P4, 40GB hard drive, Win XP Pro, SP1.

    I've run into this before which is why I don't like turning anything "off" but rather will freeze the layer.

    Freezing a layer will not allow it to plot. The only draw back is that freezing/thawing triggers a regen while on/off doesn't.

    Try switching the layers in question to Frozen rather than off. Should solve the problem.

    I've also run into this problem and it turned out to be a multi-layer block.
