ObjectDBX

    Can anyone verify if this still applies to current versions of AutoCAD.

    Autodesk does not allow the unlicensed use of ObjectDBX without AutoCAD
    being installed
    and running on the system.
    You can use it from a standalone application, provided that AutoCAD is
    running and you use
    GetInterfaceObject() to obtain the interface pointer, but you cannot
    use GetObject() to do that unless you are licensed to use ObjectDBX.
