I toggle Object Snap (Osnap) and Polar Tracking (Polar) on and off in
combination many times during a drawing session. I am aware of only 2 ways
    to accomplish this repetitive task:
    1. Use the trusty mouse and click on both buttons at the bottom of the
    screen.
    2. Press F3 and F10.
As for the first method, enough with the left clicking already. A goal of
many is to reduce the number of mouse clicks one has to make. I tend to
agree with that concept. My wife tells me I wake her up during the night
with my hand jerking. I explained that it is a muscle memory thing, like a
good golf swing, and I am involuntarily clicking the mouse all night. She
would rather I take up golf again.
Version 2 is not on my favorites list either. A single hand requires a long
reach to access both keys at the same time so with my well worn index
finger, and my eyes off the screen, it's locate the keys and press each in
succession. I tend to reach for F3 first -- habit I guess. If the function
keys were re-programmed to be side by side it would be faster but I prefer
not "mess around" with the key's default settings.
Is there a way to create a command that will toggle both commands on and off
at the same time? If the only solution is to alter the function keys I will
have to settle for that. But please, don't suggest changing F1. It is the
most critical key on the keyboard ;-)
