    Object DBX wins, Thumbnails lose.

Any way around this that might be simple enough for me to understand?

(I would like to avoid the EXTRA step of batch processing drawings
afterwards if at all possible - which is what I'm doing now.)

    Any guidance would be appreciated.

    Best regards,

  2. you mean a function to restore the bmp's without opening the drawings?
I actually have a dbx type app written by Autodesk that preserves the bmp's.
I think its not a big deal if you are a C person. I am a size L though <g> (Lisp)
