Notepad

    HiHo;
    If you want to copy to NOTEPAD, just CtrlC the AutoCad text screen and
    CtrlV to the notepad. If you want to use some data from the notepad to draw
    in AutoCad a script file will do that. Alternatively there are lisp
    routines to
    import XYZ date into AutoCad and draw the appropriate object.

  4. Let's say yes.
    For instance there are some architectural symbols or blocks and when I tried
    to download them from an Italian website I received them in a notepad form,
    and that was it, I coudn't do enything else to see them

    What was the file name that you downloaded? Something.lsp or something.dwg
    or something.dxf?

  6. Blocks are DWG files. If you changed the file extension from DWG to
    something else like TXT, just change them back to DWG and they should behave
    as you would expect.

    BTW, blocks are NOT LISP routines. LISPs are programs and have a LSP
    extension.
