My computer locks up during full preview and I am forced to ctrl-alt-delete to close the program and get out of it.
    I have:
    Compaq/Presario/256 gb of ram
    1.5 gb
    Pentium 4
    with 39.3 gb free space
    Autocad 2000
    Windows ME
    HP 1220 inkjet plotter
installed service pack and plot update patch

Only started having problems after installing the "2004, Norton internet security" software. The plot update patch has served me well for the last 3 years without a hitch, so I believe it to be the anti-virus scanning software, but still don't know how to fix it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thankyou very much,
    Dulcie

First try uninstalling NIS and see if that fixes the problem. ME is a buggy
OS system, you might consider upgrading to Windows2000, you should be able
to do that without any hardware compatibility problems. XP would be best,
but you might hit some snags trying to get it installed. More RAM would be
    a must.

What video card are you using?
