Is it possible that OCE still has not released a VIC driver for AutoCAD 2004? It was scheduled for August 2003...

Tell me I am wrong and just can't locate it :(

  2. An LDF(tm) driver is available for AutoCAD 2004. A Layered Document Format
file contains a VIC plus some job information. Repro Desk understands LDFs
just like it understands VICs. You can go right to
http://www.oceplancenter.com/download.asp to download the Océ Client Tools.
When you install the tools, the installer detects if you have AutoCAD on
your system and asks if you want to install the LDF driver. You can
certainly post any feedback you have (good or bad) to this newsgroup as we
at Océ do read its contents daily.

  3. Second attempt at posting - TCP/IP connections are being reset unexpectedly.

I've had this exact same problem. When I go to plot a VIC file in ADT 2004, I get the message "Vic driver Missing" or something like that....I try to reinstall the Vic drivers, but it doesn't look like it installs anywhere. Any Help?

I gave up using AutoCAD Oce drivers long ago (sometime when AutoCAD 13 was released), and just configure a HP DesignJet 650C in AutoCAD and feed the HPGL/2 files to the OCE machines.

  6. The VIC driver is R14 only. Download the Océ Client Tools from
www.oceplancenter.com and get the new LDF driver. An LDF is a VIC plus some
metadata. repro Desk handles LDF just like VIC.
