Newsgroup Synchonization - Moderator?

I have read moderators request specific instances of the web based newsgoup
not being in sync with newsreader versions.

Here's one:

In my reader (OE): I do not see lola's original post or the first replies.
I only see lola's last two replies.

In Autodesk's Web reader: I see the whole thread.

Interestingly, Google shows the same as my reader...just lola's last two
replies.

The NNTP and HTTP sides of the newsgroups are out of synch, just
as you stated. The web team is working on a permanent fix.

Thank you for the specific example but they are well aware of the
problem.

 

Terry (and all) -

Overnight the NNTP and HTTP sides of the newsgroups were
resynched. You should see all posts on both sides of the
newsgroups now. There is a 1-2 minute delay between posts made on
one side showing up on the other.

 

Is this true only for new posts?

I reset this group and downloaded headers again. The thread I previously
cited "Proviles of Soil Logs" still only shows lola's last two posts.

FYI As of this morning, I see all the posts in the previously mentioned
thread.
