New toolbar button macros don't run

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Mark Johnston, Jun 7, 2004.

  1. I have a procedure that adds new toolbars to a users current menu file.

    It ends with:

    aToolbarGroup.Save acMenuFileSource
    ThisDrawing.Application.Update

Everything works perfectly except, the user must restart AutoCAD for the
    toolbar macros to work.
The toolbars, buttons, button images and every other feature is fine. It's
just that the macro string associated with the button doesn't run.
Once AutoCAD is restarted everything works.

    Any suggestions?

  2. If you did a full install or a custom and selected vba, look in the
Sample\VBA\VBAIDEMenu directory for the custom_menu.dvb file. It works so
you should be able to find your mistake
