I was looking at an assembly this morning. It had two components. I
was measuring some edges. At some point the following happened:

    1. The key board input was ignored
    2. Some mouse input was ignored
    3. Many toolbar buttons, menu items, etc were greyed out.
    4. No dialog boxes were open at the time.
    5. The X in the upper right of the window would not shut SW down. It
had to be killed from the task manager.

And is the lockup repeatable with the same assembly?

I might have run a user macro. Didn't record and play one though.

Not repeatable with assembly. I restarted SW and all was well. I have
been having some glitchiness with macros and with the toolbars
    shifting.

  6. I ask because I know there is a problem with recording a macro and then
playing it back causing all the buttons to be greyed out and the document to
be unusable. It was properly submitted. I remember that the only option
that was actually available was window>close all. and I believe I was
allowed to save then with no more problems. I haven't noticed buttons
jumping arround but could this be due to different button sets for ASY DWG
    and PRT.
