yeah its all about 3D XML...

 

the "3DVIA printscreen" (http://www.3dvia.com/shapeit/3D_PrintScreen/)
is awesome !
Apparently it dumps the content of the 3D scene directly from OpenGL
or DirectX into 3DXML. Wow !

 

Kind of works, but there are faces, missing from the model, (I tried a
simple part).

The program locks up in you try it on a 900 part assembly, lol.

It pushes the solidworks program window off of the screen, needing the
windows key, to be able to close Solidworks down.

If you select a function, the function stops working, once you let go, of
the mouse button.

Now if they could get those things right, it be a great, great, program!
