new question about dimensioning sketches

Discussion in 'SolidWorks' started by Bill Chernoff, Mar 8, 2005.

  1. The size of the numbers in a dimension seems to be scaled to the part size,
so when you zoom in on an area of interest, the dimensions get huge, like
    covering the half the screen.

Is there a way to make the dimensions a constant size with respect to the
screen size, and not the part size?

    Thanks in advance

    Here's one I know!

    It's under Tools> Options> Document Properties> Detailing> Annotation Display,
Check the box next to 'Always display text at the same size'.

Since it's a Document Property you'll likely need to make this change in your
Templates, then never think about it again...

    Hope this helps
