New Hot processor

    The problem with that thought is that SolidWorks has little control over the
    use of parallel processing or not. Since SolidWorks and most other CAD
    system are built using the component technology of others, they are at the
    mercy of whomever makes the component such as Parasolid or D-Cubed. Some
    areas of the Parasolid kernel do take advantage of parallel processing,
    while others can't or don't yet.

    In single processor mode the FX60 still rocks and is faster than
    anything else out there. That is the beauty of the dual cores, state of
    the art single core preformance and the extra processor when you need
    it.
