New activation scheme and task scheduler

In sw2007sp3.1 I just tried to use task scheduler to import some cad
files into sw but everytime the scheduler tried to open one of the
files to import I received a message stating that my license of sw
needed to be registered. I had already previously activated by
registration when I installed sw2007 so I am not sure why this is
happening. The first time it asked to register I went along and said
OK and it warned me that this was my second activation and that was
the limit but the very next file that the scheduler tried to open
caused sw to try to activate the registration again, this time I
selected to cancel. I ended up having to shut down my pc because the
the scheduler tried to continue opening files (about 100 of them) and
everytime I would get the warning that my registration needed to be
    activated.

Has anyone else seen this? Is the task scheduler not compatable with
    the new activation scheme?

    Thanks
