If anyone is planning on using VB .NET, you may be interested in a sample that I posted in the ObjectARX newsgroup. It is written in C#, but shows what you can do using VB .NET as well. I'm told that it is fairly easy to convert C# to VB .NET, and that there are even some automatic translators, but I haven't done it myself. There are a decent amount of samples in there already and it will continue to evolve over the next year. Of interest to VB/VBA programmers will be access to the AcGe library that ObjectARX users have enjoyed for many years. I may eventually port it to VB .NET as well, but for now, you should be able to easily translate anything that looks interesting to you. See the thread "MgdDbg C# Sample" in the ObjectARX newsgroup if you are interested. Jim Awe Autodesk, Inc.
