    Hi,
Can anyone help me out with some t bar ceiling details? I'm doing a commercial TI job and, as a residential draftsman, have never had any call for t bar ceiling stuff. Any good resources would be very much appreciated.
    Thanks
    Phil

This may not be what you're expecting but .....

    1. Take your tape measure and go to your Hone Depot, Lowe's or whoever's in your area and measure typical components OR:

    2. Do a search on Google using keywords such as "suspended ceiling components"... or similarsearch word combinations.

MIght not find too many details because main tee, cross tee and wall angle components are so alike from one manufacturer to the other that they're seldom detailed.

See if there's a Chicago Metallic web page; they're one of the largest manufacturers of suspended ceiling components.

    Look here. http://www.documents.dgs.ca.gov/dsa/pubs/IR_Manual_2-3-04.pdf

There are State of California ceiling details for schools and hospitals.
Start looking on page 80. These are free.
