need for some help

    Hello,
    Something need help,
    1. how to convert ellipse or ellipse arc to polyline.
    2. how to convert spline to polyline .
    3. how to draw a 3d solid helix spring.

    I am using autocad 2000i

    If anyone know how to do that, please give me solution.

    Among other ways, SaveAs R12DXF works.

    IIRC, all you need to do with the first 2, ellipse and spline, is to explode them. The 3rd has been
    the subject of many, many requests in the NG. I'd suggest that you go to Google and search.

    WMFOUT -> WMFIN then explode the block created by wmfin.
    Tricky to get the scale right....

    Wrong.
    You cannot explode a SPLINE or ELLIPSE.
