Looking for a reliable tool that can convert DXF's to PDF's. Has
anyone got have any experience with doing this? I don't want to spend
the bucks for Adobe if I don't have to.

    Thx.

You don't 'convert' files to pdf you 'print' them.
    Use pdf995, its free

Don't use pdf995, it doesn't accurately convert vector thickness nor
does the page sizing work properly. I found deskPDF Pro from
www.docudesk.com works by "printing" PDF's also, but does it better
    for the above reasons.

Take a look at AcroPlot Pro.

It will convert DWG, DXF, PLT, DWF, DOC, XLS, TIFF, CALS, GP4 files
to either PDF or DWF in batch mode.

It is made specifically for engineering applications and large sheet sizes.

You can download a full working trial at http://www.cadzation.com

    Hope this helps.

  6. Have you looked at Irfanview? You have to download the plugins as well
to view .dwg drawings and I think you have to register the plugin but
it's free. It converts/views a bunch of different graphic formats.
