Mysterious Missing Entities Fixed

Have a base dwg with several xrefs. Plotting from paper space. Some newer entities in one of the xrefs mysteriously would not plot, though other entities on the same layer would. It was strange, because I could see the non-plotting entities on the screen, but not in the plot preview. Did not matter what driver, plot style, draworder, layer settings, etc. Also strange, was the fact that I could open the offensive xref and the same entities would plot fine from there.

Solution was to set the INDEXCTL system variable inside the xref dwg to 3, which created Layer and Spatial Indexes in that file. This setting increases the performance of the file when it is demand loaded into another drawing. No clue what that has to do with plotting, but hey, it worked.
