Sorry for having to repost this. I have a user that lost their settings for
pushing down on the middle button to pan. Can someone refresh me what the
setting is for this type mouse to get that back? Thanks a bunch!

Already tried that, either way it doesn't work. Must be the mouse setting
    controlling it.

I've posed this question in numerous groups and received no valuable reply.
    Reboot will fix it (temporarily).

All settings are as they should be.
It decides a random point in time to stop working.
    Reboot. Fixed (until next time).

  6. When it stops working does the "Hand" change into a funky arrow by chance??

I thought Logitech fixed that issue with Autocad. I'd look for a driver
    update.
    If it's USB:
Plug it into a different USB port.
Get a USB to PS2 doohicky and plugging it into the PS2 mouse port.

In Autocad type the following command:
    MButtonPan
    Set this to 1
The value can either be on (1) or off (0).
    This should fix your problem.

Also system mouse software should have middle button set to "middle button" or sometimes "AutoScroll" will work.

I never install the logitech software, no issues this way. Also no bloated software that Logitech loves to push out.

Up until the 'side-scrolling' version of the Intellipoint Explorer, I had always suggested it. NO MORE!!!
