MV-->Hide produces too many lines on round contours

I have the contour lines set to 4 on display and it looks good. When I hide
display and/or use MV-->Hide to print a hidden line drawing (wireframe) I
get too many contour lines (triangles actually) on my round surfaces that
dirty up the drawing. Is there a way (ACAD 2002) to reduce or eliminate
these? The items are 'revolve' produced solids.

    Thanks

Take a look at your DISPSILH setting.
