Multiple Copies from Publish

We use AutoCAD 2005 and Publish to print plan sets to a Savin 413 printer that is heavily used by many office staff.

When printing multiple copies from AutoCAD, it sends multiple copies to the que so each copy must be processed (up to 15 minutes each for an aerial image) vs. other programs create the multiple copies through the printer not from the source (i.e. the software printing it).

Are there solutions we can use to speed up our printing? It is becoming a big bottleneck for us.

    Thanks.

Some of the plotters (not printers, so I don't know if this will help) we've
had over the years allowed you to make copies of plots right at the
plotter's control panel once they've begun printing. There's no processing
time involved, it just sends one after the next.
Is this an option with yours?
