MTEXT/Attribute Text Question

Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Michael Schirmer, Nov 9, 2004.

  1. Reviewing the new Sheet sets caused me to come up with a question.

Can you connect Attributes with mtext? In other words, can you create some
sort of attribute text where you place the note you need in an attribute
that then adds the note to you mtext that shows your notest?

This sounds like something you'd want to do with fields rather than attributes. You could create a custom field for the text you want to be able to insert in your note and then place that field within an MTEXT object.

  4. Can you hide fields like you can hide attributes?

You can use a field as the value of a hidden attribute, if that helps.
