    Hi,

Where can I find a LSP to move objects from paperspace into modelspace?

    Thanks,

If you have express tools there is a command called CHSPACE

okay, found that it is with 2002. Does it work with 2000 (not 2000i)?
If so, can someone post it in customer-files newsgroup?

    Thanks

I just highlight it, making the grips active, then right click and copy
with base point. It becomes like inserting a block after that. It depends
on the size of the object you want to move sometimes. If its too large it
may dump you out of the drawing.

It's in Express Tools Vers. 1-9 which was available for free download.
    Works on 2000 for me.

    Phil, do you have 2002?
2000 does not have that express tool item unfortunately.

We used 2000 (Before new release) with Express Tools. CHSPACE was included.

That is a great idea and a wish of mine ....problem is convincing my company
to buy 20 upgrades with the economy status ...a big NO!

    Thanks for your info though.

Humorously asking, how much would 10 AutoCAD 2004's cost and 10 LT's cost
(we currently have 2000 and LT 2000)?

  13. You would have to talk to your reseller about costs... or look online at the
    EStore.

So to sorta answer Jeff's question, it'll be scads cheaper to upgrade now, than buy all new in 6 months.

  19. Jeff,
Must not do much dimensioning. That reason alone is reason to upgrade.

Easy for you to say Kirk ...when a company has let go 50% of their staff and
has been hurting in this economy it might only seem to make sense to you
that an upgrade is no big deal. Your reason to upgrade in the eye of those
holding the company money is extremely poor.... though it is an excellent
one in the eyes of a drafter. It's amazing though how you can assume I "do
not do much dimensioning" just from the posts ...your a phone line psychic
in the making ...making false statements.

Upgrading wasn't even the topic ...I was merely inquiring about the lisp
that moves objects from paperspace into modelspace. If you read the posts, I
was merely commenting to Tracy on her suggestion.

You do have the freedom of free speech however assuming wrongly.
