    Hi,

I have a bunch of drawings which I need to move onto the correct coords. Currently the architect just plonked the whole structure in no mans land I I would like it align it to my civil survey data.

    My question is.
Is there a way to move/rotate/align the existing structure to a coordinate, and then pop into paperspace and then re-align the viewport so the view still looks unchanged?

I am very unsure how to do this.
    Any help would be great.

    Cheers

    Devon,

I think what you want can be done.

What's not clear is how you propose to specify the data needed. For example, if you
xref the architect's plan at 0,0,0 would you have a point in-hand to move the xref
to? If so, that's easy. Similar question applies to rotation. How would that be
    determined?

Regarding the paperspace viewport, are you saying it is currently aligned to the
architect's drawing, rather than your civil survey?
