Anyway to display a symbol (like the tooltips) when you mouse over certain entities?
Wasn't there a program called "Balloon.lsp" or something? Free. Showed you what ever you pointed at. Can't remember where it was from. Bill
there is a free file out there that you can still and it will pop-up a bubble with all the same data as a list command would... I forget the website but the file is only about a meg so I could e-mail it to you... or you could try to google search for bubbles 2.1 entities?
AcadX can display a popup tooltip that you can control from LISP, VBA or any other ActiveX language. The 2002 version is free for in-house use. http://ws03.ipowerweb.com:85/caddzone/acadx/ AcadX for AutoCAD 2004 Beta 1 http://mysite.verizon.net/~vze2vjds/acadx/AcadX16.zip
Tony, I've got the AcadX and am using the viewport freezing part and it is great. Tried to use the datatips.lsp and got the following error: Execution error DataTips Enabled - Move the pickbox over any object Opened up the VB editor and get 4 missing references, all related to C++. Do I need to get these files?
