Discussion in 'AutoCAD' started by Mark S. Klein, Aug 27, 2004.

  1. Can I mouse either my middle button pan or the object snap menu to a
different button I have a 4 button mouse? Would want preferably to move the
    object snap menu. Acad 2005

  2. Wrong ng. You should get look in straight customization or the basic
    AutoCAD ngs.

You'll also need to look into it from your mouse's mfr perspective. Read
their help file and/or browse through their driver setup. Once you figure
out how, then look in the CADalyst AutoCAD Clinic archives. There are
numerous suggestions on how to do it there. You probably need to assign a
accelerator key in your acad.mns [***ACCELERATORS section] that performs
the action you want then map that key to the mouse button. For example, set
F12 to do the osnap menu then assign F12 to the button. This is explained
very well in the AutoCAD Help file.
