I am working with someone who doesn't know how to WBLOCK objects.
    When
I WBLOCK an object or objects I put everything on Layer "0" and color
"By Block", so that when I insert the block I can manipulate the
    block
to what ever Layer/color I need. Question is "Can I change the
properties of this other guy's blocks(Lines, text) so that they are on
Layer "0" and by Block with out having to re create these blocks?"
    Thanks

Thedrawing made with the WBLOCK command is just a drawing. All you need do
is setup the layers in it to your preference. You do not have to redraw the
    whole thing.

Go to my website and scroll down to the Free AutoLISP link. You will
be redirected to a page on which you can scroll down to BF0.lsp. Go
ahead and download that file. It puts everything that is in the block
on layer 0 and redefines the block. If you want everything "byblock"
you should be able to modify the routine for that. It's raw LISP
    code.
