missing some parts of the print

    I have an Epson 9600 using Acad 2004 and I have a large print that when is printed out it is missing tiny sections leaving white, some are shaped in squares others in fine white lines. All other printing seems fine and never seen this before. Only on this print it happens. In the preview it does not show these lines that are missed????? The printer seems to print everything else prefect???
    any ideas before i throw the computer and printer out the window??
