    Greetings:

I am wondering if anyone running into this problem. I model a simple
desk (as one block not as an assembly). I assign 3 different color to
different area, foot, desk-top surface, desk-back surface. I use this
desk and mirror it in an assembly files using it back surface as
mirror plane. The mirror part is all gray color instead of having my
preset color. Am I missing something?

Thank you for your time and help.

One would think mirroring would mirror this property, but it doesn't.

    Thanks, John, for your response.

I notice that when mirroring a components (Insert, Mirror components),
if the box with components name beside it in the "Components to
Mirror" field is unchecked; the color will be preserved but the
orientation is messing up. I have to hit Reorient 3 times to get the
correct orientation. Otherwise, if the box is checked the orientation
is correct but the assigned color disappears. Is the a special use
    for this box?

  4. Take a look at the legend at the top. If the box is checked, a LH/RH
version is created. If the box is unchecked, the same exact part is used.
