The Minnesota SolidWorks User Group is an independent, volunteer
organization dedicated to supporting the local SolidWorks community.
Bring your questions on any topics that you'd like to discuss during
the open forum. Join other SolidWorks users for some food, refreshments
and discussions on SolidWorks issues in an open and relaxed
environment. You could also win some great SolidWorks prizes.

A technical representative from Alignex will be on hand to discuss
    assembly topics:
    Smart Components
    Display States
    Layout Sketch Blocks
    Physical Simulation
Advanced Mates (Limit, Cam, Width, Gear)
    And more

For those that went to SolidWorks World, bring something to present to
    the group.

Don't forget about the tool modeling contest. Dig in your toolbox at
home or at work and model the tool of your choice. These can be general
tools or specialty tools in your industry. Try to beat the propeller
model that won the contest in the August meeting. (I know a propeller
is not a tool, but it is a cool model.) The best models will win
prizes. Bring your models with you on CD or memory key, or e-mail them
ahead of time to Mark Nelson ().

By this time, most people are using SolidWorks 2006. How did your
transition go from your earlier version?

Bring any SolidWorks problems that you are having with you to discuss
in the open forum. This is a great place to get different prospectives
on the way you do things.

    When: Thursday, February 23rd, 1:00pm - 4:00pm
Where: Hennepin County Public Library, Southdale - Helen A. Young
    meeting room
    Cost: Free
    RSVP: Dan Podzimek or
    David Labuda
