I'm looking for how to type the delta symbol (triangle) when in font
    49. Even better if anyone has a comprehensive list of all these text
manipulations, that would be much appreciated. Thanks.

    font 49,
What version of Microstation are you using? If it is V7 then you can
use the ascii code to key it in if there is a Character for that font.
Font 49 can be many different fonts depending on which .rsc file you're
getting it out of. If you need to see what the ascii value for that
font is (in version 7) then you can use the Text editor under wysiwyg
dialog box if you set your preferences up to edit in wysiwyg. You can
also preview the fonts under the font editor "mdl l fontedit" choose
the font.rsc file that has the "font 49" in it and preview the whole
    font file through this MDL.

If there is not a symbol in that font you can edit that font.rsc and
make one for yourself. If you're dealing with a client then that symbol
will not show up on their side unless you send them the "rsc" file. If
you need to know how to make the that symbol in the font library then
I'm sure "askinga' could probably instruct you where to get that
    information.

If it is v8 there are numerous ways of doing it.

    Good luck.
