    Creating a custom menu to insert blocks that we use, and can't them to map to the location. Here's what I have: **POP12 *FORMATS ID_Borders [->Borders]
         [->&CCD]
    ID_Ddinsert [&asizeborder.dwg]^C^C_insert ?????

    Nothing I've tried will work. What's the best method for inserting finding the block and inserting it? Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Perhaps I've missed something but isn't it as simple as (command "-insert" "h:/cadadmin/blocks/d.dwg" "0,0" "1" "1" "0") ??
    works for me. To avoid giving the entire path you simply need to make certain that the drawing is in AutoCAD's search path.

    Hope this is of some help.

    In a menu command, if the text changes lines, do you have
    use a +, or is that just for macros?

    The text in notepad when you're setting up the pulldown. Doesn't matter though. You helped me find the problem. I was telling it to search for the entire path (u:/formats/etc,etc,) when in fact the path was set up in my support file search path. All I needed was to add the file name, not the path. Thanks for your help, you've been more than kind.
