Mechanical or AutoCAD

    Hi All,

    In a system AutoCAD mechanical is loaded. I need to know what application user has used last i.e. AutoCAD or AutoCAD mechanical. This should be done without opening the AutoCAD. So is there a way to do this.

    You didn't say *where* you want to do this determination from (if you want to do it without *opening* AutoCAD then it's obviously not from within AutoCAD VBA) but perhaps you could examine the operating system "Last Accessed" property for the two exe files.
