Maya -Hotbox commands by gestures?

    I really like the way that the 3d program Maya lets you program a keyboard key that, when pressed and then mouse click, a semi-transparent image pops up with command names just above, below, and to the sides of where you click. When you move your mouse towards the command, it is executed. Has anyone done this with AutoCAD yet, perhaps using grread?
