Is it possible to identify the type of data (projection) contained in a
source sub-directory and Acad maps will remember that permanently for all
    future drawings?
We always work in Nad 83 State Plane in north or south zone projection but
have USGS DLG's in nad 27, drg's in UTM coordinates and DLG in still another
projection. Rather than doing the tedious transforms each time we load a
peice of data I would like to have a north zone projection prototype and a
south projection prototype and all of the dissimilar data would be
transparently converted to that projection based on the information recorded
about the source subdirectory and the prototype that I use.
