This is what I would like to do, question is, can I do it?

Setup: I create a windows folder called job1
I copy 3 standard drawing files into job1
    p.dwg
    c.dwg
    s.dwg

Each sheet has a border that has standard info, client, address, ect.
What I would like is a file in windows (excel, word, whatever) that I could
    open
in the job1 folder, edit all of the info and that file somehow update all my
AutoCAD files in the same folder.

I get a lot of problems with folks plotting before they change the client
    info on all sheets.
    Is this possible?

    Thanks,
    jojo

Add another folder. This one with a title block. xref that title block into
the other drawings. Update the master, the rest change to match.

Set up the fixed portion of each client's drawings in a "master" file, then
XRef it into the other files as they are created. This way you have only one
file per client to be maintained, and all of the client data that gets
updated in the master will automatically reflect in the other files.

    Thanks CW & Paul,

I was hoping for an excel type file that could be used here, and in other
    places.
I could link the excel file to contacts and to invoicing and streamline a
    lot of processes.

    Thanks,
