    hi,
I have a map with contourlines of z-coordinate.
I'm trying to make TIN surfaces.
I need to make the surfaces with 3D-Face object.
I couldn't find the proper way to solve this because of too many vertices.
Did I click all the polyline vertices ?
Anybody knows to do this easier and faster.
    Thanks

    khann.

  2. I recommend using Land Desktop. THen it can display the surface with 3d faces.
This is bread and butter for Land...
I am curious if there are good routines out there to triangulate and extract data from surfaces. I wonder if anything
can beat Land's speed for triangulation - probably not as I understand that is something they tried to optimize in C.

Thanks for your kind reply, James.
Now I'm gonig to get LDT.
