This is your chance to show and tell all of us how fucking talented you are
    at programming CNC lathes.

BTW, my least experienced machinist/operator/programmer (9 years manual
machines, 2 years cnc operator, 1 year programming) says your programming
ideas are absolutely the worst fucking shit he has seen--even less
    intelligible than a Fanuc manual.

    Dan,

Take a look at Cliff's sample code to prove his point that centerline
    programming is it.

I must admit though Cliff was right and I was wrong, he said I wasn't
reading his example code right. When I said he made two mistakes in the
two lines he posted I was wrong he made five mistakes, proving that his
convoluted method is more prone to error.

Post # 231 subject: Mori Seki SL1 NC lathe programming
Example was to place a .01" Radius at Z.0 X1.0 with a tool nose radius
    of .031

Cliff's example programming from the TNRC,
    End of Cliff's example

How many mistakes did Cliff make?
    Here's the list

    Line # 1 G01 X 1.063 (X start should be X.980)
    Line # 2 G02 (G03 is Counter Clockwise)
    # 2 X1.187 (X end is wrong should be X1.062)
    # 2 Z-.031 (Z end is Z -.01)
    # 2 R.072 (R value is wrong R value is R.041)

No wonder Cliff won't post a sample profile or corresponding G-Code for
Peer Review, he is worse than worthless his mistakes are costly and
    dangerous.

ROFLMAO, Jon would have gotten this right making Jon smarter than
    Cliff.

    Cliff,

    That's the best you got?
Since when do you ever listen to people who ask for you to not cross
    post?
