    Hi folks,

I have a problem with the LVS of identical structures (layout) in a
    bigger part.
The same output of both structures is floating (there are other outputs
    also).

The LVS-tool is confused the struktures.
I can label the nets in the layout, but they are not extract (the
    net-label).

    What is wrong?
    Any ideas?

    Best regards !
    Stefan

  3. To label a net in the layout, you need to create a label object with the
reference point over a shape on the net. Then you need to have a label
clause in the geomConnect so the layer the label is on gets associated
to the derived layer the shape is on. You may have missed the second
part. Then you need to create a correspondence file for LVS so it knows
to force match the labeled nets.

  4. Look at your extraction ruledeck, and ensure that the layer of interest
is saved. Then open the extracted view and look at what was generated.

This kind of situation most often comes from a layout that is more
compact than what the ruledeck writer assumed/authorised. If these two
devices are connected by butting pins, then it is most likely that you
'll fix it by moving them just a few angstroms apart and add some
    interconnect metal between the pins.
