    Hi !

    I have Autocas LT 2005.

    I have a problem with my HP DesignJet 500. I installed the driver. I can print all the day.

    When turn off my computer and turn it on after, the printer says "ready", all seems ok, but when I print it prints nothing.

    I tryed other drivers. The same.

    I tryed to install the driver on the Autocad install CD, but this one ask me for the directory to find "Acad.exe", and Autocad LT 2005 has got no "Acad.exe" !

    Please tell me something to do.

    Regards.

    Is the printer connected directly to your computer? If so, shutting down
    the computer may lose the connection to the printer. Just a shot in the
    dark.

    => Yes !
    => That's the reality. But is it normal to have a disconnexion between a computer and a printer when we shutdown the computer ? !!!
    Thanks for your reply and philosophy ! :)

    Guess what I'm trying to say is that the computer may not be detecting the
    printer after you start the computer back up. Shut off the printer as well.
    Then, bring up the computer first, and once it's up, turn on the printer.
    It may be detected every time that way.

    computer and a printer when we shutdown the computer ? !!!
