LSW Related

In Cadence IC5033 how do I add in LSW (Layer Window) the commonly used
layers (metal_1, poly, pimp, nnwell, etc ...) because in that window I
only have background layer ? Thx in advance ...

This actualy means your library is not getting attached to the right
technology file. Right Click your library and go to properties in
order to check whether you have got the right techFile or not. I'm
99.99% sure your lib is not attached ;-)

PS: I'm always asking the same question when see people working with
IC50. Have you got any reason at all to not move to IC5141. IC50 is
not supported by Cadence as far as I know.

For Riad: I installed IC5033 because at my college (more exactly in
the laboratory where I'm learning some Cadence related design) they
have license for IC5033 and I've been advised to install the same
version. Because I had to work more in that laboratory for my final
project but I chose to work more at home for my comfort.

 

Hi Bogdan,

That would be better if you get that IC5141, just to avoid struggling
on your own in case you have got any troubles with the version you are
using.
BTW, I'm sorry for the redundant answer above, I didn't see Stéphane's
comments by the time I've replied. I think google wasn't updating fine
by the beginning of this week :-(
