  2. Why don't you draw them yourself?

This post would be better sent to alt.useless.answers.
If I had the time, inclination & training to draw them, I wouldn't
have taken the time to post my request. Thought that might have been
    obvious to most...guess not.

  4. So you want something for nothing and/or
you can't draw simple items you may not
    even need, and you're chippy?

Getting testy & smartmouthed isn't going to help you either. From past
posts, I'm going to assume Michael was offering that suggestion as a lot of
pros here do there own blocks and/or swap blocks and lisp routines. Not to
mention the freeware available. Then add to that you stated the money issue.
You never stated you had any cad ware so??? Who knows exactly what you
wanted in some type of format? Certainly not this forum. In the time it
took you to compose your request & answer, your symbols could have been
    1/4~1/2 way done. Good luck.

Shheeeshhh...I didn't expect a spanish inquistion. All I did was ask
if anyone knew of a symbol library (thought autocad part was implied
since this is an autocad group..sorry). I also never asked for
anything free..just can't spend a grand on this. I'm not an autocad
drafter guy, I've just been asked to lay out some hydronic heating
designs on autocad format. I can click and plop things on a page and
connect lines but no, I can't "just draw them" and no, I wouldn't be
half way done 'cuz I'd still be trying to pull my head out of my butt.

I guess I should have done some more research on the use of this group
since I've obviously violated some group rules by asking if anyone
knew of a source for such a symbol library.

The other newsgroups that are more up my professional alley would have
a much different response to a request such as mine. I'd never think
of responding to a software request with "just write it yourself" or
respond to a question about hydronic design with "just figure it out
yourself". I guess each group is different.

Sorry if I've offended the gods. Please, go on about your normal daily
    business.

    cheers

There are draftsman and there are drag and droppers. It always amazes me how
many people pay as much as they do for AutoCAD when Visio would be more
    suitable.

  9. Drag and droppers usually don't care about details of anything,
or standards. The example shown was a BITMAP
and showed neither of the above concerns as far as I can tell.

Curious, I went to the steele.com site, to see what kind of business
they do. Under "Experience Based Learning" they apparently give courses on:

    Team Building
    Conflict Resolution
    Problem Solving
    Communication Models
    Organizational Change
    Personality Assessments
    Self Assessments
    Leadership Training
    etc. : D

"Irony: Don't let yourself be controlled by it, especially during uncreative
moments. When you are fully creative, try to use it, as one more way to take
    hold of life. Used purely, it too is pure, and one needn't be ashamed of it;
but if you feel yourself becoming too familiar with it, if you are afraid of
this growing familiarity, then turn to great and serious objects, in front
of which it becomes small and helpless. Search into the depths of Things:
there, irony never descends - and when you arrive at the edge of greatness,
find out whether this way of perceiving the world arises from a necessity of
your being. For under the influence of serious Things it will either fall
away from you (if it is something accidental), or else (if it is really
innate and belongs to you) it will grow strong, and become a serious tool
and take its place among the instruments which you can form your art with."

You guys slay me. I'm laughing my ass off. All this shitstorm from a
simple request. I'm glad I could create some traffic on the steele.com
website seein' as how I never knew it really existed. Did you ask for
Biff? Did they tell you he wuz gawn-a-cortin' Ellie May?

Well this was fun...Maybe I'll be back again now that I know how easy
    it is to rile y'all.

There's a zip file you can download from this site:

    http://146.186.250.56/symbols.html

These files are in .doc format. The symbols can be copied from each
document and pasted into another document to make up a circuit.

They are not really suitable for Autocad unless redrawn in Acad format,
but they might do what you want.
