I'm using AutoCAD 2004 and trying to plot a 300" print. in the end the plot length is 1/2 inch too long. Has anyone ever heard of any issues in regards to AutoCAD and long print issues. I have had the machine calibrated to spec so this only happens when plotting from AutoCAD and not scan to print

It is a problem with XERox 510p
If you are the first to plot to the 510p you'll notice no issues, but if you
are the 1000th by the end of the day the heat on the paper will cause this.
    Solutions: 1- print the first
2- turn off the 510p let it cool out and then be the first to plot!

    Hope that helps,

    Kal

Thanks for the help, but here it what I do know. The tolerance for the 510dp is +-.05mm. so at 300" the specs could be out 1 1/2 inches. here I am getting only 1/2 an inch. so I'm way within spec. you should check yours. Besides you should never measure the length for at least 5 min, to allow for the paper to cool.
