Long Extrude Times 4 Drafted Text?

    I have done extruded text with Draft since 2001+ or so, and it always
    worked OK, though it is obviously a complex drafted extrusion with
    multiple characters.

    I'm now on SWks 2005 SP 4.0 and WinXP SP2 w/latest M60 updates and
    correct nVIDIA driver (finally).

    9 characters (Arial Rounded True Type fond) to extrude from a plane to
    a cylindrical surface with draft now takes 3 minutes on the M60.
    Extruding to a flat surface, on the contrary, is a "normal" extrusion
    time of maybe 15 seconds or so, which it has always been.

    Anyone else see these long times.
